5-star hotels in Chipping Norton
A shortlist of the 5-star hotels in Chipping Norton, gathered for travellers who want the highest class of stay in and around this Cotswold town. Every property here is rated 5-star, with guest ratings from 4.7 out of 5.
Staying in Chipping Norton
Chipping Norton is a Cotswold town known for its historic market square, its theatre, and its limestone buildings, with a weekly market and easy reach of other Cotswold towns and villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, and Woodstock. These 5-star properties sit outside the town centre, in the villages around it: most are at Bruern, roughly 5.9 km from the centre, while The Crown Inn Church Enstone is on Mill Lane at 6.7 km and Aintree Cottage on 2 Stable Yd at 6.0 km. The Crown Inn Church Enstone is the only one of the group with a restaurant and bar on site.
The group is built around self-catering cottages with kitchens, gardens and free car parking, which suits couples and families on a short break who want space and quiet rather than a town-centre address. Families are well covered by cots, high chairs and babysitting service at many of the cottages, plus playgrounds, games rooms and indoor pools at several. Business travellers will find desks at some, though this is not a business-hotel list. Because the town centre is compact and walkable but these properties sit in surrounding villages, a car is useful for getting in and out.
